How to Burn a CD Using iPhoto

How to Burn a CD Using iPhoto
Images in iPhoto

You can burn a CD with iPhoto to archive the images and view them in iPhoto. Because iPhoto is a Mac-only program, if you need to access the images on a Windows-based computer, you cannot burn them from within iPhoto. You can burn your photo library, specific albums or individual images to a CD in iPhoto.

Instructions

Go to the "Applications" folder and double-click the iPhoto icon.

2. Click the library, album or photos you want to burn to a CD to select them. To select multiple items, hold the "Command" key as you click. The total size of the images must be less than the 700 MB available on a CD. You can view the size in the "Information" menu in the lower-left corner of the iPhoto window.

3.Go to the "Share" menu and select "Burn."

4.Load a blank CD into the optical drive of the computer. A preview screen with the images and the amount of space on the disk appears.

5.Enter a name for the CD in the text box and click the "Burn" button. Click "Burn" in the pop-up window to begin burning the CD.
